Windscreen replacement in Pontypridd

South Wales Windscreens provides mobile windscreen replacement and chip repair in Pontypridd and the surrounding CF37 area. We come to you, with no call-out charge. Fitting is usually under an hour, and you can drive away about an hour after fitting.

A470 commuting

Many Pontypridd drivers – and plenty coming down from the Rhondda and Cynon valleys – use the A470 into Cardiff every day, and fast dual-carriageway traffic is one of the main causes of stone chips. If you pick one up, have it checked before it spreads: chips up to the size of a £1 coin can usually be repaired; anything larger needs a windscreen replacement.

Hillside streets

Lots of Pontypridd’s terraced streets are steep. A chip repair can be done almost anywhere, but for a replacement we need the car on reasonably level ground with room to open both front doors. If your street is very steep, tell us when you book and we’ll find a suitable spot nearby.

Students and staff at Treforest

If you study or work at the university in Treforest, we can come to you there, as long as the car is somewhere we can safely work on it. Tell us where it’s parked when you book.
